I had my eye on this scooter for about a year. And it was time for me to upgrade as I have disabilities and could no longer comfortably ride a stand up scooter, so this was my logical choice.
Was so excited waiting on it, and it arrived a day early ( every scooter I ordered was a day early ) so great start!
The ride is soooo comfortable and confidence inspiring. And if you don't see an upcoming pothole, you know you won't be launched from it as the suspension really is fantastic.
The power is awesome, throttle is very smooth and doesn't jerk or pop wheelies unexpectedly. It has a substantial weight to it which is actually a bonus as it is sturdy.
I was leaning round corners in no time. Feels like being back on a motorbike rather than a scooter.
Is really practical with the cargo basket and options to add a cargo box or 2nd seat on the back.
The controls and the Dash are great. The screen is crisp and clear. It's great quality.
After 3 weeks I wanted to really take it out a proper run as I had been using it for short commutes or trips to shop, but needed to really see how it handled a decent journey.
I travelled 10 miles from home. Then on my journey back, I luckily got a quarter mile from home and it died on me. And still had 50% battery left.
Had done 70miles all in. So had to push it home.
I was really gutted. Especially after 3 weeks .
Now these things can happen. But as it is an online purchase, it complicates things for repairs or replacements.
Isinwheel sent me a replacement motor to see if that was the issue, but unfortunately it didn't fix the issue. And I wasnt getting any error codes on the display. So it wasn't straight forward.
And in no way had I pushed the scooter past any limits or rode it in a reckless way.
Although it could take a bit of time, the support team have really genuinely been trying to help and make things right.
They gave me a partial refund, and also offered to send money if I could get it to a local repair shop, but that wasnt an option.
So they arranged to have it collected so they can fix the issue and return it to me as quick as possible.
It has been a few weeks, but they are sending me a refurbished replacement to use temporarily until mine is fixed and returned to me.
So they really are going above and beyond to help me with the issue.
Obviously my confidence has been shaken with it a bit, especially since I have been wanting that scooter specifically fot quite some time, and its always disappointing when things don't go as planned.
But I can't say they aren't doing everything to make things right.
I researched the scooter and the reviews thoroughly before purchase, so Im convinced that issues are rare with the model.
It's the best scooter I've had to date and I love everything about it. So Im not returning it for a refund. I still have faith in it.
If there were no issues it would have the 5 stars.
Even with the fault, Im giving it 4 for the feel of the product and the support team working hard to make things right.
And they did refund £100 back as a good faith gesture so I give them credit and I WILL re-review when I get it back and have use again. And if there are no more issues, ill give it full marks.
Im even still buying accessories to add to it when it comes back, including some nice new sleek rear view mirrors and a zip bag to carry tools.
Im even convincing my best mate to purchase the same scooter next month as I still have faith.
