iSinwheel GT2 Off Road Electric Scooter Review
As someone who’s spent years testing and riding electric scooters across all sorts of terrain, I can confidently say the iSinwheel GT2 Off Road Electric Scooter is one of the most capable all-terrain models I’ve ever ridden. I’ve put it through city commutes, countryside lanes, gravel tracks, and even steep woodland trails – and it has impressed me at every turn.
First Impressions
When I unboxed the GT2, I was immediately struck by its magnesium alloy frame. It’s lighter than you’d expect for such a powerful scooter – only 22kg – yet it feels rock-solid. The design screams durability and performance, with chunky 11-inch off-road pneumatic tyres and a wide deck that gives you that stable, planted feeling from the get-go.
Power & Performance
Under the deck, the GT2 packs a 1200W peak power motor capable of handling 35° inclines without breaking a sweat. On the flat, I was comfortably cruising at around 28 mph (45 km/h) and could hit that speed quickly thanks to its strong acceleration.
The battery is a 48V 15Ah lithium-ion unit, giving me a solid 37-mile range in mixed riding modes. Even after some steep climbs and off-road stretches, I still had enough charge left for a return trip, which is impressive for a high-power scooter.
Comfort & Ride Quality
The GT2’s ride quality is exceptional. The 4-coil spring suspension works beautifully with the large pneumatic tyres to soak up bumps and uneven surfaces. Whether I was tackling cobblestones or muddy tracks, I never felt rattled. The wide handlebars and adjustable stem made it easy to find the perfect riding position, and the large deck allowed me to shift my stance on longer rides.
Safety & Lighting
One of my favourite things about the GT2 is its advanced lighting system. Not only do you get bright front and rear lights, but there’s also ambient lighting built into the frame that activates when braking or signalling a turn. At night, it’s not just practical – it looks fantastic.
The combination of a disc brake and electronic brake gives you strong, reliable stopping power, even when riding downhill or in wet conditions. With the IP65 battery and IPX4 dashboard water resistance, I was confident riding in light rain without worry.
Portability & Practicality
For an off-road scooter, the GT2 folds down surprisingly neatly. The one-step folding mechanism is quick and secure, and while it’s not a featherweight, it’s manageable enough to lift into a car boot. I also like that you can add an optional detachable seat for those longer journeys.
Verdict – Why I Recommend the GT2
The iSinwheel GT2 is an absolute beast for riders who want speed, range, and off-road capability in one package. It’s robust, comfortable, and well-equipped for both city commutes and weekend adventures. If you want a scooter that can do it all – from smooth cycle lanes to rough country tracks – the GT2 is one of the best all-rounders you can buy in this price range. And with iSinwheel’s current offers, it’s an incredible value for the performance you’re getting.
